Schools
Kids who live in Alston Court can walk to school. Westview Primary,
Westview Middle School, and Westview Elementary School are located
virtually across the street from the neighborhood, and the walking
trail provides an easy way to get there. Stratford High School is
located within Crowfield Plantation, just a short drive away. A
couple sources on school information are www.greatschools.net
and the Berkeley
County School District. Several colleges are also close by,
including Charleston
Southern University and Trident
Technical College.
Parks
Middleton Park (left), located in Crowfield Plantation, is a beautiful
nature area connected to Alston Court through Crowfield's 25 miles
of walking trails. The park includes a playground, ball fields,
and huge open spaces ideal for picnics or frisbee.
Several other
playground parks are located nearby in Goose Creek. Wannamaker
County Park, which is part of the Charleston County Parks and
Recreation system, is just 15 minutes away from Crowfield Plantation
and Alston Court.
Crowfield residents
enjoy a 75-acre pond that includes a community dock. The pond is
great for canoes, kayaks, and fishing. There is also a club house
and 18-hole golf course located in the heart of Crowfield Plantation.
Beaches
Most beach-goers choose Isle
of Palms County Park or Folly
Beach County Park as their destination. Isle of Palms is the
closer of the two parks (25-30 minutes) and Folly Beach is a little
further away (45 minutes).

and Shopping
So much to do, so little time! With easy access to I-26, Alston
Court residents can take advantage of all the entertainment offered
in the greater Charleston and Summerville areas. Here's a quick
